Catalog: M2M_CATALOG Location: Earth Event Time: 2025-03-08T04:48Z ( DSCOVR: PLASMAG ) Quality of ICME Signature: 1 (lacks some signatures) Note: Characterized by a disturbance in magnetic field components which may be reflective of a corotating interaction region (CIR), prior to the associated coronal hole high speed stream onset, as well as a solar sector boundary crossing (SSBC). Btotal increases from 6nT at 2025-03-08T04:48Z to 15nT at 10:22Z. There is a subsequent increase in density starting around 2025-03-07T17:00Z and reaching a maximum of 30 particles/cc around 2025-03-08T02:20Z. The associated coronal hole high speed stream signature, which follows this initial CIR/SSBC signature, is likely related to a coronal hole centered near latitude N10 which reached the central meridian on 2025-03-05.
